ENTRY INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS

Online Registration closes August 12th. Racing registration available on the salt flats for AMA and RWB participants.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

There are 6 things to do to get you ready to race!

Proof of American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) membership (your card) and photo ID of the rider must be shown on-site at registration.

All participants must be current AMA/ATVA members.
Sign up or renew online: www.americanmotorcyclist.com,
or at the event prior to registration.
By clicking the above link to sign up or renew, BMST receives credit for memberships for Racers. All participant must be full (1-year or 3-year) members.

  • Each class and/or rider needs a unique number.
  • Numbers can be up to 4 digits long (e.g. 1234).
  • Alpha-numeric numbers CAN NOT be used (e.g. 45a).
  • Email entry [@] bonnevillemst.com to request your number.
  • Numbers are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If your number is taken when you register, you will be contacted to chose another or have one assigned.
  • It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they have the means to change or mark numbers on the motorcycle to comply with rules.
  • Previous participants from, 2021 and 2022 & 2023 (registered or requested) will automatically have their number reserved.
  • If you participated in 2019 or prior but have not requested to keep your number it will have expired and is not longer guaranteed.

All riders are required to read the Riders Handbook, as well as the appropriate AMA Racing Rules and/or FIM World Record Regulation and will be required to sign a statement indicating that he/she has done so. Rider Medical Emergency information is submitted separately from registration form (form will be emailed to you).

Participants that wish to contribute a little extra to BMST, to assist in equipment updates, additional features and amenities, can become Very Important Racer sponsors. Sponsorship benefits include Advance admission on Friday set up (25th Aug) and priority registration and thank you in our program.

NOTE: V.I.R sponsors that register after July 15th are not guaranteed to be listed on all printed materials (T-shirt and Program) due to printing deadlines.

 

NOTE: FIM Participants: You DO NOT have to submit a separate AMA entry, your FIM entry includes eligibility for AMA records- provided you meet the class requirements for the AMA. All attempts are automatically considered for BOTH FIM & AMA.

Spectators are always welcome. Passes included pit access. Food vendors are available and we always recommend that you bring sunglasses, a hat and some shade! Spectator viewing areas are available on either side of the pit area. Check here for more info!

FIM World Records

Pre-entry: $1045
Entry fee from July 15th: $1245

All competitors/riders must hold a valid FIM International License issued by the AMA or the home FIM national affiliate (FMN) for international riders. Competitors must send their license paperwork to AMA/FMN for submission to the FIM. This is required by the 30 day deadline (July 25 2024) before the event. This entry is conducted under the competition rules of the FIM.

In addition to the FIM information that you must submit to AMA/your FMN, you are required to complete your Entry Form and submit your event fees prior to the 30 day deadline (July 25 2024). FIM pre-entry fee includes unlimited runs, an event participant T-shirt & goodie bag, eligibility for World Records, provided all criteria are fulfilled. Also 1/2 Price Gate entry ($50ea) for each rider/Crew member when purchased with registration.

You DO NOT have to submit a separate AMA entry, your FIM entry includes eligibility for AMA records- provided you meet the class requirements for the AMA. All attempts are automatically considered for BOTH FIM & AMA.

AMA National Records

Pre-entry: $695
Entry fee from July 15th or at the event: $895

AMA pre-entry fee includes unlimited runs, event participant T-shirt & goodie bag, eligibility for National Records, provided all criteria are fulfilled. Also 1/2 Price Gate entry ($50/wk ea) for each rider/Crew member when purchased with registration.

Note: Late entry after August 1st or on the salt  does not guarantee participant T-shirt and goodie bags and are only available while stocks last. Online Entry Closes August 15th. Gate entry not included in onsite registration.

Run Watcha Brung

Pre-entry: $200
Entry fee from July 15th or at the event: $250

  • Entry fee includes a event participant T-shirt & goodie bag, two passes down the salt flats and your official timing slip. Also 1/2 Price Gate entry ($50/wk ea) for each Rider/Crew member when purchased with registration (Max 3).
  •  Note: Late entry after August 1st or on the salt does not guarantee participant T-shirt and goodie bags and are only available while stocks last. Online Entry Closes August 13th. Gate entry not included in onsite registration.

Additional Class

Fee:  AMA $325/FIM $495

Entry at the event: AMA $425/FIM $595*

  • An Additional Class fee applies where the same motorcycle & rider make a change to the original entered class. Additional class pre-entry is recommended if you plan on running in two classes, it will save time and paperwork in registration.
  • No additional class onsite registration will be permitted on the final day of racing per the AMA LSR Regulations. If a 2nd rider is entering on the same bike, but in a different class- a separate entry is required. If the 2nd rider is in the same class see ‘Additional Rider’. Additional Class fee includes unlimited runs, eligibility for National Records, provided all criteria are fulfilled.
  • FIM Additional Class participants MUST complete all the appropriate World Records Application information.
  • Note: Online Additional class entries are charged a non-refundable deposit fee, remaining balance is not due until you register onsite.

Entry at the event: AMA $425/FIM $595*

  • Additional Rider fee applies where the same motorcycle & class has a 2nd rider.
  • Additional Rider can be submitted at the same time, or after the original entry using the supplemental Additional Rider forms. Additional rider pre-entry is recommended if you plan on running in two or more riders, it will save time and paperwork in registration.
  • A separate entry form and medical information is required for each rider in addition to the original rider.
  • If the subsequent riders will be running the motorcycle in a different class, an separate full entry is required.
  • FIM Additional Riders  MUST complete all the appropriate World Records Application and Licensing information.
  • Additional Rider fee includes unlimited runs, event participant T-shirt & goodie bag, eligibility for prize money and awards, provided all criteria are fulfilled.
